I rejoined the same team after my internship and got to work on some great features like integration of CMS system with business credit application, implementing caching system and more or less writing all the backend code. In the process, I learnt very useful techniques of software developement and tried my best to write highly maintainable and modular code. The application is used by people all over the world and we made it worth an experience.
From 2017, I started focusing more on Full Stack development. I have been developing features which involve Frontend technologies like AngularJS, Webpack 2, npm, etc. and mostly PHP in the backend. I also got to work on the Authentication system between applications which was implemented using OAuth 2. The next step is to try and migrate the Angular applications to React Framework for better performance and stability.
Summary
As a Full-time intern at D&B, I worked on one of the AngulatJS projects. There I learnt and implemented several modules in Angular. The later half of the internship was focused on building up a shopping cart for D&B in PHP. The overall experience was great and built a strong foundation for me to join D&B as a full-time employee.
