Kunal joined MobiMedia as a Software Engineer in Nov 2013. Over his eight months period, he proved himself to be one of the most dependable members of the team. He shouldered critical responsibilities and turned out to be the best hired employee of the whole 2013 batch.

Kunal worked on one of the most challenging projects in the organization. It was the development and first deployment phase of a green field project - to develop an e-commerce service oriented platform, with various external systems integrations. Kunal showed excellent self learning skills to quickly understand the complexities of the system, and learnt multiple languages (php, Java, web services) to deliver his piece of work. He struck an admirable balance between analyzing business requirements and formulating technical solutions optimally and innovatively to fulfil them. He has a natural ability of problem solving from business and technical point of views. In no time, he had developed a very good insight about most of the arms of the system. Due to this he was also allocated the task of analyzing and resolving production issues that required a turnaround time of not more than a day.

Apart from his assigned tasks of development and unit testing, Kunal also shouldered a critical responsibility of product deployment on Amazon Cloud. In spite of being most junior member in the team, he was entrusted with this task because of his eye to detail and high amount of reliability and dependability.

Kunal is an excellent team player as well. He doesn’t hesitate to get or offer help to any of his team members. He gelled extremely well with the existing team and maintained a healthy professional relationship with everyone around. His focussed and calm temperament even in toughest of the situations has been inspirational for many. Kunal actively participated in all group discussions and made his points clear, without any aggression. Kunal has always taken bottom line of his tasks and has gone beyond his job role to think about the bigger picture.

Over all, Kunal has proved to be an asset to the organization in his short tenure of 8 months and has made valuable contributions to the project.

I had the pleasure of working with Kunal Parakh during his summer internship here at BriskSale. He worked alongside our lead developer and performed tasks attuned to a senior web developer. In addition to Kunal's talent and breadth of skills, he is an intrinsically motivated diligent worker.
